Elene graduated recently from the NCSU Electrical Engineering program. She now works at Ericsson.

Josh is a culinary artist extraordinaire. He works at Koroberi.

Josh and Elene met in 2001 at the Lumina Theatre in Chapel Hill, NC where they worked at the time. They had mutual friends there and slowly got to know each other over the years they spent at the movie house.

In 2003, Elene left for college and over the next few years she and Josh only had a few brief encounters via mutual friends. This continued until Elene’s senior year of college when Josh insisted on hanging out. With Fall semester exams finished, and Elene in Chapel Hill again for the break, she gave him a call and invited him out for coffee. They spent that evening enjoying each others’ company and stayed up late watching Gangs of New York.

From that fateful evening forward they have been together until February 29th, 2008, when Elene proposed to Josh (as it is customary that women are allowed to propose on that day).

Now they eagerly look forward to May 23rd, 2009 when they intend to be wed.
